Here's another shot. It was hard to get a clear shot of this screen as nature has kinda stepped in at this point.    

It looks like the screen has been clawed by the pines over the years.

Here's a closer look at the drive in's street sign. 

The other side.

This is the view as you enter the "driveway." I guess at one time it was gravel.  The tin roof shack in the distance was where you drove up and got your ticket.

A closer look at what's left.

 

Another angle. That black thing on the right is I guess the switcher box or possibly the fuse box and it's still there as we will see shortly. 

Here's the same building in the summertime.

Click on THIS for a closer look.  It says "lane 1" and "lane 2".  Look closely at the bottom left and the original factory sticker remains and judging from the star shape, I'd guess late 50's or early 60's vintage.

This is the really sad part. Those must have been the lights where you could switch from lane 1 to lane 2, kinda like a bank drive through I guess.
