From left to right: Steve Kordek, Paul Faris, and Gary Stern. |
Paul Faris had just been inducted into Expo's Hall of Fame when I took this picture. The coolest art I've ever seen on a pin was designed by Paul, for Bally's "Lost World." Norm Clark, though, designed one of the first pins I owned, and one of my favorites, Williams "Fun-Fest." |
From left to right: Pat Lawlor, Joe Kaminkow, and Larry DeMar. In addition to being part of the design and software team for "Funhouse," one of the best solid state pins ever made, Larry is also responsible for "Defender," the most advanced and challenging videogame I played in the early 80's. |
"Mayfair Amusement" had this cool animated sign which spelled out their name continuosly. This was the first and only time I've seen this sign at their booth. Mayfair, by the way, is a great source for original and new old stock backglasses. |
Well, it was an eventful show to say the least, and already over. |
Monday morning, "O'Hare" airport, wow, cool. |
Eh......no way.
|
This was neat though. |
