Almost forgot KISS, a pin which is collectible enough, that I
have never seen one parted out. I can remember up until the late 90's,
you could find a KISS pin barely working, cosmetically decent, for around
$600, quite easily.
Near the break area, I spotted another KISS pin, with a German
backglass.
Here's a better shot of the backglass.
Again, excellent playfield.
Back over by the check-in area at the front door,
around the corner from KISS and Ali, I found two Williams classics. I
spent much of my time playing "Jungle Lord", one of my
favorites, and "Black Knight," the first 50 cent pinball machine
I ever played.
This is the nicest Jungle Lord playfield I
have ever seen. Normally, expect insert wear so bad, you can't even read the
numbers in the bonus countdown area.
But if that wasn't enough, two rare and highly collectible
Williams solid state pins, were right next to Black Knight: Pharaoh and
Solar Fire. Pharaoh is quite similar to Black Knight, but missing the
pop bumper. Solar Fire has ships on the backglass that look oddly
similar to Cylon ships from Battlestar Galactica. I played both of these quite
a bit, as well as Police Force seen on the right.
Here's some more recent classics. "Whitewater" was one of
the pins featured in the "A Division" tournament. During this
tournament, there were modes reached which I had never seen before.
Here's some more tournament pins...
and more tournament pins. Check out the score on "The
Shadow."
This
is the left side of the tournament area. Notice the glass partition and
the nice gap between pins.
