Here's another low production oddity, Williams' "Time
Fantasy." Notice the sign at the top telling you what year the pin
was released, and other titles as well you might like, including, "Farfalla,"
and "Time Machine." "Pinball Champ '82," on the
left, is another classic Zaccaria pin.

I'm thinking the Peter Max style art was a result of the
60's cultural revival during the 1980's, or maybe just an attempt to get
videogame addicts back over to pinball. This pin has Joust and Defender
sound effects, but no speech.

This is one of my favorite solid state pins of all time,
designed by the late Steve Kirk, who passed away in September, 2006.
It is also Stern's best selling solid state pin as well, ironically based
on one of the last 70's disaster flicks, starring Sean Connery, which
nobody seems to remember. I own one of these pins, and it's most definitely
not for sale. The Catacomb on the left was down briefly. It was nice
to finally play that pin again after more than 20 years, the only solid state Stern pin I remember being on location here in Richmond, VA.

This
game is packed with drop targets. Knock all the drop targets down,
and you collect all rockets. Once you have, all the lights flash, and you
hear some really cool early solid state sound effects. |
