"Pinball Wizards" pin sighting screen shots
One of my favorite electromechanical pins of all time. |
Made by the legendary... |
The Internet Pinball Database mentions there were 5,254 of these produced. |
More trivia. |
When I would visit relatives in Coney Island starting in the 70's, the arcades had driving games, gun games, skee ball, basically everything except pinball. |
Then pinball became legal again, and my life was changed forever. |
This was actually one of the first pins I remember playing at Coney Island. On the left, "Big Shot," "Flash Gordon," and a Williams 1956 skill crane game. |
I've never seen one of these sell for this much, but on Ebay I suppose anything's possible. |
On the left, part of "Big Shot's" backglass. This is actually the first pin I remember playing on location, possibly at Woolworth's or 7-11, here in Richmond, VA. |
On the right, a rare Bally "Magic Circle" pin. |
On the left, a rare Midway "Race-Way" pitch and bat style racing game. On the wall, on the upper right, an "Old Chicago" backglass. This was another pin from my early Coney Island days. |
The topper sign on "Kings & Queens," can actually be purchased at "Pinball Resource." On the right, part of "Wizard," based on the movie "Tommy," and "Kings & Queens" was the pin played by Roger Daltrey aka Tommy. |
On the right, what appears to be a Williams pitch and bat, circa 1950's or possibly 60's. |
But this was the real treat. |
Oh, that's what it is. |
These can be found on Ebay, starting at around $50. |
