Made it to the service area. Nice storm clouds. |
This is the "Molly Pitcher Service Area" in New Jersey. |
To the left of the main entrance, the sign says there's Roy Roger's, Starbucks, Nathan's, Arthur Treacher's, Cinnabon, and... |
something you don't see everyday. |

The gold record is "Born In The USA" and it appears the other stuff is Springsteen memorabilia too. |
Unfortunately, there appeared to be a long wait, and I had a long drive home, so AB wasn't happening. |
I ended up getting an overpriced burger at Roy Rogers instead, but what's this?! Games?:) Ok, where's the arcade? |
Ok, Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga. Works for me, however... |
Cool! A pin on location! But it's broken, bummer:( It says "Check Fuses F106 and F101." |
Here's one of those 51 cent penny crusher machines. Great family fun. They can be found at service areas, amusement parks by the ocean, heck, just about anywhere. |
The Sunoco at the service area was charging per gallon, $3, $3.14, and $3.33. Diesel was $2.87. |
Despite the prices, they were pretty busy. |
Finally back on the road, coming up on the "Delaware Memorial Bridge." |
Somewhere in Maryland I think. |
I stopped here too somewhere in Maryland. |
It's the bike family. |
Somewhere close to the Maryland/Virginia border, yawn. |
Sometime on Monday... |
time to unload the van, and from now on, the handtruck stays home. |
