The York Show 2008

Only 1,500 of these were produced.

Here's a shot of the playfield.  I don't know much about this game.

Over 20,000 of these were produced according to The Internet Pinball Database. There seems to be one or more at almost every show I've attended.

Here's what the cabinet looks like.

The upper right playfield features "The Thing," hand that grabs the ball from the playfield.  Often this is broken on location, so it's nice to check out better examples of this game at the shows.  Also, the Internet Pinball Database mentions that one of the flippers "autoflips" like the "Palisades" woodrail you saw earlier.  Unlike "Palisades," this flipper is also controlled by a flipper button.

There was another cooky, creepy pin at the show.

Sega's "Frankenstein."  Paul Faris was the artist for this pin too.

Friday morning, as the show opened, I took a pic of this vintage baseball stadium located on the fairgrounds.

There was also this vintage car.

At the show's flea market area, The West VA Pinball Player's Club had this vintage "Attack From Mars" promo poster for sale.

They also had displays for sale and a Star Wars Episode I conversion kit.

They also had various videogame stuff, including this Pac-Man hat, which I now own, and this Pac-Man shirt, which my girlfriend now owns.

She now owns this umbrella too, which lights up.

Just when you thought you've seen everything, there were one jukebox and two pinball themed ties for sale.
