The York Show 2008

"Wheel Of Fortune" was the electronic tournament pin this year.

Sonic's "Faces" has some of the wildest art I've ever seen on a pin.

Here's a shot of the playfield, which resembles Williams' "Grand Prix."

The cabinet art almost hypnotizes you.

The traffic light says "Welcome To Our Gameroom."

On Saturday, I played these two rare Bally 70's pins.

This pin would actually qualify as very rare.  The Internet Pinball Database says there were only 55 of these 1970 "Double-Up" pins made.  Notice the Christian Marche "pointy people" art.

This Bally 1973 "Bali-Hi" also qualifies as very rare, with only 80 made. Trivia:  There's actually one of these in a 1977 episode of "The Rockford Files" titled "Dirty Money, Black Light."  With so few of these made, this is probably one of the rarest pins to appear in a tv show.

Here's a shot of the playfield. Check out the unique circular bonus layout.

Once again, Christian Marche art.

This 1970 Gottlieb "Scuba" pin features cool underwater art.

The playfield has bonus "plateau" levels for both players.
