| Pinball shows are where you find games and parts, and get
to play lots of pins! I've been attending shows since 1999, and it's
always a lot of fun.
I started this site back in 2001 so I could archive my pics and stories from shows I have attended throughout the USA. Pinfest (formerly The Allentown Pinball Wizard's Convention), in Allentown, PA, is about 6 hours from Richmond, VA. The show takes place during the first weekend in May. Saturday is the biggest day. Over 100 pins are set up for free play inside and a decent size flea market outside. Flea markets are the most fun, since you have no idea what you will find, mostly unshopped, but usually salvageable. The White Rose Pinball Classic (The York Show) in York, PA is about 4 hours from Richmond, VA. This show takes place during the second weekend of October. Saturday is the biggest day for this show too. Over 100 pins set up for free play inside, along with some video games, air hockey, etc. Their flea market is worth it too. You'll never know what you will find. This show has grown a lot since I first attended back in 2000. It's really worth the trip, coming from someone who hates to travel. |
